According to the initial estimates, the Estonian real GDP growth accelerated to 2.7% during the fourth quarter of 2014, the highest growth rate since Q1 2013. Estonian economy showed the fastest growth rate in the Q4 among the Baltic States, compared to 1.9% growth in Latvia and 2.4% growth in Lithuania. Main growth drivers during the final quarter of 2014 in Estonia were manufacturing and retail sectors.
The initial estimate for the full year GDP growth of Estonia is at 1.8%, while the most forecasts expect the growth to accelerate in 2015 to just below 3%.
